Our Mission statement

The Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ lives through its camps, churches and communities by offering God's welcome to all, listening to one another, bearing witness, and working for justice.

Gounded in justice, diversity, and community, we are listening for the Still-Speaking Voice of God. Expectantly, we listen to discern where God might lead us next. Joyfully, we anticipate the future with great hope.

Geography

Our Conference includes Alaska, Northern Idaho, and nearly all of Washington State.  Our diversity ranges from rural to urban, large to small, theologically progressive to somewhat conservative.  Striving to extend ourselves ecumenically, we are fortunate to count several yoked or federated

congregations among us and we also have ties with our Samoan churches.  In a region where autonomy is encouraged and celebrated, we seek creative ways to strengthen the ties between the conference and the local churches.
